This policy covers Claude Email Tasking Assistant, a personal-use application operated by Amanda Lien.

What this application is

Claude Email Tasking Assistant is a private tool. It connects an AI assistant to email accounts owned and operated by Amanda Lien, so that she can search, read, draft and send her own mail through that assistant. It is not a product, it is not offered to the public, and it has no users other than the operator.

What data it accesses

When authorized, the application uses Google's Gmail API to access the content of messages, message metadata such as senders, recipients, subjects and dates, labels and folder structure, and the ability to compose, draft and send mail from the authorizing account.

It accesses only accounts that have explicitly granted it permission through Google's standard consent flow.

How that data is handled

Access tokens are stored locally on the operator's own computer. Message content is passed to the AI assistant only when the operator asks for an action that requires it, such as searching for a message or drafting a reply.

No data is sold. No data is shared with third parties for advertising, marketing or analytics. No data is used to train machine learning models. There is no server, no database and no hosted backend holding this information.

Limited Use disclosure

Claude Email Tasking Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and revocation

Stored credentials remain on the operator's computer until they expire or are deleted. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately ends the application's ability to reach the account.

Children

This application is not directed at children and is not available to anyone other than its operator.

Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
